TOLEDO, OH, Aug. 29, 2018- On June 19, 2018, Jera’s Heavenly Sweet Bakery celebrated a very successful first anniversary being at their first location. Originally a home-based bakery solely owned and operated by Toledo resident, Jera Stewart, the bakery made its big move to the current location downtown Toledo to the One Seagate building in the summer of 2017. For years, Jera baked from her home for leisure, making baked goods for church functions and family parties, but eventually began selling her sweets as they began to make a name for themselves . She then became a licensed home-based bakery and began selling her sweets at festivals and with the Food Trucks Association at events like the Old West End Festival, Food Truck Thursday, and Jazz in the Garden. As the clientele began to grow, so did the demand for her sweets and it became apparent that she was quickly out growing her kitchen at home. She and her husband, Bill Stewart, decided to renovate their small kitchen to accommodate the growing business. While renovations were underway, a customer told her about a potential location where they thought she would succeed and after months of meetings, careful consideration and prayer, they decided to go forward with the move! What makes the bakery special is not only the incredible sweets baked daily from scratch, but the genuine and consistent top of the line customer service that Jera and her employees radiate. It is her goal that each customer that encounters the bakery walk away having had incredible baked goods, but more importantly, the feeling of being at home. The bakery is open on Weekdays, Monday:11am-4pm, Tuesday-Friday: 8:30am-4pm. To place orders or for other inquires call (419) 214-1107 or email heavenandsweet2gmail.com.
