With a distinguished 30-year tenure at Mosser Construction, Matt has held various key positions, including Vice President of the Water Division and, most recently, Vice President of Operations. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in leading some of the company’s most significant and technically challenging projects. In his new role, Matt will collaborate closely with the divisions to optimize team performance and drive talent growth. His technical expertise has proven to be an important resource to Mosser as they train and grow the next generation of talent to the company’s high standards of excellence. Shawn Tooman has been promoted to Director of Project Management for Mosser’s Building Division. In this role, Shawn will oversee project management resources, ensuring projects meet client expectations and adhere to the highest quality standards. With 19 years of experience at Mosser, Shawn has played a pivotal role in some of the company’s most significant and complex projects. His diverse background spans industrial, infrastructure, healthcare, and institutional sectors, and he is known for optimizing workforce capabilities in both field and professional environments. Christopher Carry, P.E., has been promoted to Director of Mosser’s Heavy Civil Division. With nearly two decades of experience in heavy civil construction and six years at Mosser, Chris’ expertise in conceptual site development has significantly enhanced Mosser’s ability to offer early-stage solutions in project planning. Chris has built a strong team of diverse professionals, fostering a seamless vertical integration that enhances client service. His division will continue to focus on expanding Mosser’s expertise in site, civil and bridge construction. Nicholas P. Steyer, P.E., has been promoted to Director of the Water Division. Nick brings over twelve years of experience serving Water/Wastewater clients and has demonstrated leadership by building a skilled technical team. His ability to collaborate effectively with owners, operators, equipment suppliers, and engineers has been instrumental in delivering successful projects and innovative solutions. Under Nick’s leadership, the division is well-positioned for growth during this pivotal time for environmental services in water and wastewater treatment. Matt Otermat has been promoted to Director of Estimating for the Building Division. Matt will lead and oversee the estimating department, ensuring that budgets and competitive bids are accurate and meet the needs of Mosser’s clients. With 28 years at Mosser, Matt has been crucial in refining the company’s approach to cost planning and budget management, particularly during the pre-construction phase. His expertise has guided project teams through high-profile public CMR projects, navigating both pandemic-induced market volatility and the post-pandemic landscape.
