To qualify for this top state honor, Ms. Harmon submitted the winning essay about how resilience and adaptability are crucial for CSRs to navigate today’s insurance markets. Additionally, Ms. Harmon was selected for having demonstrated outstanding service and professionalism within the insurance community. Dorian Harmon has worked in the insurance industry since 2003 and is currently a personal account manager at Knight Insurance Group, Toledo, where she has been employed since 2017. She obtained her Certified Personal Risk Manager designation in 2022 after successfully completing five courses in risk management. “I love the feeling of appreciation when my client thanks me for the solution I offered or the reassurance I provided. My clients value our relationship, and my reward is their loyalty and continued business,” says Harmon. “Ms. Harmon was chosen as a state winner for exemplifying the characteristics and qualifications required to be eligible for the prestigious award,” stated William J. The National winner also receives a distinctive gold and diamond lapel pin cast with the Outstanding CSR of the Year emblem. Additionally, the winner’s name will be inscribed on a sculpture permanently displayed at the national headquarters in Austin, Texas.
