Closing costs waived for veterans and service members buying a home with a VA loan

Huntington Bank has launched a new program that waives all lender closing costs for veterans and service members buying a home with a VA loan. This will save military families on average from $1,500 to $2,500 in closing costs, which include survey, title and other expenses. And for veterans and service members buying a home with a non-VA loan, the bank will waive the appraisal expense. Huntington wants to ensure military families are taking advantage of their VA loan benefit. The program is part of the bank’s “doing the right thing” philosophy.
